Thanks to Pinterest I was able to wrap the gift for Nate's brother's family so that he could take it home on the plane with him. :0)

DVD Coloring Cases

Every Monday I have been trying to make something with the kids.  This last week I made these.  They helped me pick out the paper and fabric for each while I did the cutting.
I made one for myself too. :0)
I got the cardboard from an old diaper box and the pencils from the $1 store.

I had to share a picture of my baby enjoying her new coloring case.

Visiting Teaching Craft

I wanted a close up of all the ones I made because I had so much fun making them, but I was lucky to get these ones.  I wanted to make these so I got together with a few friends to do them.  We had fun and it was nice to do for our ladies we visit.  On the back is the message for March.

Birthday Bash Decor

I can not wait to use this again!  Pinterest again!  Everything but the crown was from Pinterest idea's.  I do love how this turned out.  I think if I were to ever make another one, I would make sure that I put some glue in the middle of the paper I put on the tops.
I spent so much time putting together these cupcakes.  i took the time to put each color in baggies and to make sure that you could see each color on the sides and then look what happened when I cooked them.  They did look cool but I was sad that they did that.

The frosting was amazing!  I had so much fun.  The only difference I would do next time is put less color on the bottom of the bag and put the color father up the bag to make it last longer.
This was fun.  I like to decorate my kitchen for my kids birthdays and this was super easy and made the room look special.
Here is the birthday girl!  I made the crown for her to wear to church so that everyone would know it was her special day.

Shamrocks

As you can see, I have been a little busy with Pinterest things these last few weeks.  I LOVE this site!  There are so many things that you can do and I love when I have everything to do them.

I wanted a bit more green for my house for St. Paddy's Day and so I made these with my sister.

Pretty cool huh. :0)

Home-made Valentines

Again, thanks to Pinterest, I had the desire to make all my kids Valentines this year.  I have 3 in school.  I'm crazy.

But I have saved a ton of money. :0)

These ones I spent $2 on the paper clips.
I had all that felt from Christmas and I had the thread so it was an easy thing to make these ones.
I spent $3 on the pencils for this Valentine.  Too cute.
This one was $4.50 for the suckers.

My kids are excited to finish them up this weekend and to work on the boxes for them to take with them.  I like being crafty with my kids. :0)

Menu Board

I know that I have two other posts that need to be written on and completed but I had to show you what I have been working on all morning.

Do you know how hard it is to craft with a 2 year old?  She's not even two yet and I'm ready for her to be 3.

I forget how much I love to paper craft.  We have started doing a weekly menu in our family and I can not even tell you how much I love it!  I pull all the freezer stuff I need for the week out at the beginning of the week and it is all ready for me to cook.  Just need to pick which one to make.

My husband doesn't like having a set day on what we make so I have numbered them instead.  Then we can just pick which one we want that day.

I need a few more magnets and I want to get a notepad to put on my shopping list with a clip but it's good enough to go on the board.

I will eventually get a different board for this but I like to work with what I have.

I love Pinterest.  I got this idea from here.

I also did this from Pinterest today to.  It's my visiting teaching message for the month.  Now that we don't get the Ensign and Friend anymore this will be great!

Last Christmas Project

I had to make more of these Mini bags.  Love how they turned out.  One for each ear bud holder I've made.  One for each sibling of mine.  (including my husband and myself.)

My sister Winni, showed me how to make these cute little stars and I thought it would be much cuter in the bags instead of tissue paper of crinkle paper.  So I had to make a ton of these too.  Saw them on Pinterest and was so excited to learn how to make them.  Thanks Win!

Now I am really done for Christmas.  Didn't get the dogs new beds made but I can do that next week.  I also made my self a skirt that I'll take a picture of on Christmas Day.  I'm doing a few new recipes today and tomorrow too so hopefully I remember to take pictures of them .  :0)

A few more pics of all these put together.

Mini Bag

I am telling you, SewMamaSew is the best blog ever!  Here is another project I got from their Handmade Holidays this year.

This is a mini bag and I changed it a bit.  The one that I got the template for was really small and I had quite a few things that I needed to fit in this bag.  So I tried to make it taller but didn't take into account the sides.  So its a bit thinner than I wanted but everything fit so it worked great.
I like that the side is pleated.  I think that is my favorite part.  I will be making more of these for those little gifts that I want to give out.  I'm thinking for the rest of the Christmas gifts I'm making today.
I'm working on two more projects from the same site and I have today to do them.  I have to focus this next week on finishing my baby's Christmas Stocking.  It's cross-stitch and I have done one for every one else, (minus me) and I really want it done for Christmas.  We'll see. I'm not even half way done.

Mod Podge

I had my sister over for the weekend and on Friday, I had a friend come over with her kids to play with my kids while we crafted.

I bought all this stuff last year and never got around to doing it.  I have never crafted with Mod Podge and now I find myself looking for new things to craft with it. ;0)

We made these count-down til Christmas blocks.  And of course I don't have the blog that I got the idea off of to post here.  So sorry.

We just cut paper to fit the block, mod podged them on and put a little vinyl on them.  Are they not awesome!

I need to get some more vinyl numbers to finish the other blocks and I'll be giving them away to friends for Christmas so if you want to be on that list, let me know. :0)

I also had these down in a box.  Who knows how long I have had these but I got them at a Super Saturday that I had signed up for too many things to do and never did these.  I had the paper and the blocks and pulled them out to mod podge.

I was very happy to see that the blocks had what was what written on the backs.  That made things a little easier.  I wanted a nativity that the baby's that come to my house can play with.  I love the manger that I have for under my tree and come Christmas time I'll post pictures of it.  But this is perfect for baby's.  They can't break them and they get to play with them.

Now what else can I mod podge?  ;0)

*Totally found the site I used!!!  You can go here!  And I talk about this website here!   I have made so many things from here!  From just the one link alone.  LOVE IT!!!

Baby Dress

I love this pattern.  I know I say that a lot but I really do love this pattern for little baby dresses.  I love when my friends have baby girls in the summer because then I get to make them these cute, wonderful dresses.

I had a good friend having a baby shower today and I spent all morning putting this together.

It went together so smooth!  I told my husband it was all because of my new sewing machine.  I have never had one go together so well.

I love the straps!  Are they not just the cutest!

And this hat!!!  It just makes the dress.

I love the little knot on the back.  So cute!  I love the lace.  It is so much fun to see this on a little baby.  LOVE IT!

And you throw it all together in a cute little bag with a hand-made card, it makes it so nice to give it away.  Love when I can give something away that I've made with love...  in under 3 hours. ;0)
