Trick-or-Treat Bags

My good friend posted these last year.  I had the craft bug and wanted to make some for my kids so I asked her for her pattern.  She didn't use one but took the time to make one up just for me. :0)

They are HUGE!!!  I had to take a picture of my baby in one so you can see how big it really is!

She's 18 months old and small for her age. ;0)

My husband said that my kids are going to be highly disappointed because they are going to think they are filling up these bags and will be lucky to fill the bottom of them. 

I can not wait to make the rest of them.  They were so much fun.  I have never pieced before and I may have found a new love.  It makes it even nicer that there is a setting on my sewing machine just for piecing.   That was nice.  I think I may have to make a quilt after I get these and the Christmas dresses for my girls done.  Now if only my machine would work better.  I'm having trouble with the tension and any advice is very welcome. ;0)
